The O Range 7 Smoke Control Panels are designed to manage dampers and AOVs (automatic opening vents) to safely extract smoke and heat from a single zone during a fire event. They also support daily ventilation by controlling an environmental damper or vent when conditions permit.

Each panel includes two 12V 7Ah batteries, connected in series and continuously charged via mains power. In the event of a power outage, the batteries ensure 72 hours of standby operation, enabling a full emergency opening command as required by BS EN 12101-10. Recharging from 0% to full capacity is completed within 24 hours.

To comply with fire regulations, a Firefighter’s Override Switch must be installed with each panel. This provides real-time system status (Fault, Open, Close) across all linked panels. Note that the override switch becomes operational only during an active fire event. While in standby mode, it is considered tamper-proof.
